Throughout our history STCS have had a strong connection with the education sector. In fact the founders of the company are former University Lecturers and STCS was originally born from a joint venture between the Directors and Sunderland University.
We have supplied many universities with software and development services including Kings College London, University of Manchester and Newcastle University.

Ulster University
Our most recent work in the higher education sector is for Ulster University where we currently provide a software support and development service covering 2nd and 3rd line support, system design, software development and project management.
Ulster University needed a software support partner that could provide a rapid response service with flexible capacity. The initial brief was to familiarise ourselves with a portfolio of 33 systems for which Ulster required documentation, support and further enhancement. This portfolio includes three mission critical systems – Online Prospectus, Online Enrolment and Online Graduation.
Recently our remit has extended to include a bespoke Curriculum Management System, developed by a previous supplier. STCS were required to on-board the system and assume full responsibility for support and a programme of enhancements.
